Hope you are all having a great Veteran's Day here in the US.  This is a great day to share a Thank You card.  I am so very Thankful for all the men and women who have served our country.

It is hard to see in this photo but I also embossed the yellow background with the large dot embossing folder.

Surf's Up!

Hello -

Hope everyone is doing well.  I have just been up to so much.  Nothing real exciting but busy with work and catching up from the holiday weekend.  I did squeeze in some time for a quick card.  This was super easy.  The paper is from a DCWV mat stack.  I stamped the Surf's Up! sentiment directly to the paper.  The surf board was stamped on the stripe pattern paper and cut it out and put it on the card with dimensionals.
Supplies: Cardstock & Ink (CTMH), Pattern Paper (DCWV), Demensionals (Stampin Up!), Stamps (The Stamps of Life).

Thanks for visiting.  Have a crafty day!

Hi Crafters - I'm a little late getting this done but I have been super busy these past couple of days getting errands done and helping my daughter with last minute things for Prom.  She is on the prom committee so we have been cutting lots of stars and student's names with the Cricut for the party favor boxes.

Robyn's challenge was anything birthday.  I made this cute card for an upcoming birthday from the Wild Card cartridge.

Supplies: Cardstock (Bazzil), Paper (We R Memory Keepers), Ink (CTMH), Stamps (The Stamps of Life), Stickles (Ranger), Cuttle Bug, Divine Swirls Embossing Folder, Cricut, Wild Card Cartridge (Provo Craft).

Thank You Card

First I want to welcome all of my new followers.  It warms my heart that you have chosen to follow my blog and I love all your comments.  It is such a great motivation.  At this time in my life I could use all the motivation I can get!  Also spring is here and my flowers Easter Lily's are blooming.  Oh so pretty.  I just love this time of year.

Toady's card is pretty simple but I just love this paper from Die Cuts with a View.  It is from their Doodling Around stack that has been out for a while but it is still one of my favorites.  I picked mine up at Jo Ann's not too long ago.  The tree is from the seasonal April Showers cartridge.  The layers on this cartridge are so easy but the images are so cute.  It is one my newest and now my one of my favorite cartridges.  The stamps are from The Stamps of Life's 'Thanks2You' set.

Supplies: CS (Stampin Up!), Pattern Paper (DCWV), Stamps (The Stamps of Life), Ink (CTMH), Cricut, April Showers cartridge (Provo Craft).

Thank you for viewing and comments are always appreciated.  Be sure to become a follower too!  ;)

Wedding Card

Another Wild Card Cricut cartridge creation. A dear friend of mine got married last month and I had to make her a special card. She is also a scrapbooker so I knew she would enjoy a hand made card.

I used my Gypsy so I could make sure I sized it to fit into a regular A2 size envelope since I needed to mail it.
The sentiment stamps on both the outside and inside of the card are from My Pink Stamper.
The stamp on the back is a favorite from The Stamps of Life. I just get a kick out of it!

Supplies: Cardstock (American Crafts), Stamps (The Stamps of Life & My Pink Stamper), Ink & Bling(CTMH), Stickles & Pearl Stickles (Ranger), Cricut, Gypsy & Wild Card Cartridge (Provo Craft).

Wild Card - Get Well Soon

I finally (FINALLY) got the Wild Card cartridge.  I have wanted it since it debuted forever ago but I had the baby bug and all the reviews basically said don't bother without the expression it is just not worth it.  I could see their point since you are limited in size with the original cricut.  But since I got an expression for Christmas I picked up this cartridge from Custom Crops on my last order.  This is one of the first cards I made (will not be the last).  It was so easy and I made the matching envelope.  I just thought it was too cute.

Supplies: Cardstock (Stampin Up!, American Crafts), Stamp (The Stamps of Life), Ink (CTMH).

Have a crafty day!

Thank Goodness it's the Weekend!

It has been a really long week in our house.  Between snow days, colds, and work I really needed this down time.  I hope to get to a  lot crafting done this weekend.  It is a long weekend for me too since the office is closed for MLK day.

Okay so earlier this month I made a submission to the My Pink Stamper design team.  Although I was not one of the lucky ones chosen, there were so may talented entries.  I enjoyed looking at all of them and can't wait to see what the new design team comes up with.  It also lead a few new people to my blog.  Thank you to all who have left comments and decided to follow.  It means so much to me and I hope you stick around.  I will try to continue sharing my creations and I hope you will find this blog a source of inspiration.  Robyn is hosting a blog hop to get things started with her design team.  I went through all of them to get her code words for her first challenge.  What fun and so many great projects and cards!  I am going to link the following for the challenge.  I hope you all decide to join in.  I can't wait to see what everyone creates!

It's Friday! ~ Sweet!

So today's card was actually a make & take that I got with my purchase of the latest DVD from My Pink Stamper, Cricut Fun Volume 3.  I purchased mine from Custom Crops.  I was happy to get this little surprise.  I am sure this a limited time 'while supplies last' type of bonus.  She used my favorite cartridge that is on my wish list, Sweet Treats.  I used a stamp set from The Stamps of Life, Love2Hug.  I thought adding the little 'sweet' stamp made it look like a valentine conversation heart.  I highly recommend this DVD series.  I have all three and just love them.
I just love this cute little cupcake.  I will be getting this cartridge as soon as I find a great deal on it.

Supplies:  Make & Take from My Pink Stamper: Textured Cardstock, Pattern Paper, cut from Sweet Treats, Stamp: The Stamps of Life, Ink: CTMH, We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper, EK Success Mini Scallop & Dots boarder punch, ATG & Foam Squares.

Fall Thanks

Everyone is back to school and that means autumn is around the corner.  Fall is my all time favorite season.  I love the cool temps and the changing leaves.  That is why when I got The Stamps of Life's Trees2Build set I had to make an autumn tree.  While this set come with some cute leaves I just had to bring out my Thank2Fall set and use those leaves.  The grass is from the Eggs4Easter set.  Stephanie Barnard is really great about making coordinating sets.  I used my cuttlebug to emboss the brown cardstock with the Forest Branches embossing folder.  Also just a side note, when I put my tree on my block I made the branches a little wavy to give them a more realistic look.  I hope you like it.  :)
Supplies: Cardstock & Ink: CTMH, Stamps: The Stamps of Life, Embossing Folder: Provo Craft.

Hello

Hi Everyone,

I hope you are getting ready for a fabulous holiday weekend.  I know we are.  I also hope to get in some crafting time since it is not as abundant since I have gone back to work (NOT that I am complaining).  I love my new job but some extra time with my family will be appreciated.

For this card I decided to use up some of the MME paper stack I bought ages ago.  I still love that paper line.  I also wanted to play with some stamps from The Stamps of Life.  The Trees2Build set was for the month of August but also used the wave stamp (turned upside down) from the Summer4Fun set as the grassy hills. It is a pretty basic card and that I just stamped 'Hello' on so I can use it for just about anything.

Supplies: Cardstock & Ink: CTMH, Pattern Paper: MME, Stamps: The Stamps of Life

Have a Happy & Safe Labor Day Weekend!

Happy Birthday Baby Girl!

Okay - so my goal of posting once a week just kind of flew right out of the window this month. It seems like we have been on the go since the beginning of the month and I am just now getting a break. What have we been up to? Well first we enjoyed a week away from home. Just us in a cabin out in the woods - no internet or cable tv. (Good news-it allowed me some time to make a few cards.) Next, after 5 months of looking for work I am happy to say I am back in the world of employment. I have been at my new job for two weeks and I love it. Also, my daughter started 11th grade and just had her birthday. So needless to say it has been a BUSY month for us around here.

This is the card I gave to my daughter for her birthday.  She loved the pink glitter frosting on the cupcake.
Supplies:
Stamps-The Stamps of Life
Ink, Cardstock & Adhesive Foam Squares-Close to My Heart
Blue Stripe paper & pink glitter paper-DCWV
Multi Stripe paper-MME

I promise not to wait so long for the next post.

Comments are welcomed.  :)
