Ice Skate Card...

Hello -

Today I wanted to share a card I made just after Christmas with a leftover cut I had planned to use as a tag.  I was cleaning off my desk and decided to make my first Christmas card of 2012.  It is a 4.25" square card.

Supplies: Cardstock (Georgia Pacific & The Paper Co.), Pattern Paper (Recollections), Stickles (Ranger), Stamps (My Pink Stamper), Cricut & Winter Woodland Cartridge (Provo Craft).

This got me thinking that I would like to do a few Christmas cards each month so I am not scrambling at the end of the year.  I hope you don't mind  if I share them even when it spring and summer.  :)

Well this is the start of a full week of school.  Teachers will start giving more homework and my teen has adjusted to getting up early again.  I still can't believe she is a senior.  (I can't believe I am that old! LOL)

Today's card is one I made using the paisley cartridge.  I still love that zebra stripe ribbon from Offray.

Challenges...

Hi Everyone -

Today's card I am sharing was inspired by two challenges.  The first challenge was posted on the Cricut Cardz Challenge blog.  It was to use a heart on a thank you card with no pink or red.  The second challenge was with the Pinkalicious blog hop at My Pink Stamper.  It was to show your style making your favorite thing.  My style is glitter, cricut, boarder punches and I love to make cards.

Supplies:  Cardstock (DCWV & The Paper Co.), Stamp (My Pink Stamper), Cricut & DoodleCharms Cartridge (Provo Craft), Liquid Pearls (Ranger), Dimensionals (Stampin Up!), Ink (CTMH), Boarder Punch (Martha Stewart Crafts), Corner Punch (We R Memory Keepers).

I am having fun checking out everyone's creations for these challenges.

Have a Great Day!

Berry-licious

Today's card is one I am sharing with the Cricut Cardz Challenge #86.  This week's challenge was 'Tutti Fruiti" (make a card using fruit).  Click HERE for the direct blog link.

I used the Simply Charmed cartridge along with a stamp sentiment from My Pink Stamper.  The embossing folder on the strawberry is one from Indentz called Ellipse. Inspiration for this card came from My Pink Stamper.  I just put my own spin on it.
Supplies: Cardstock (DCWV), Stamp (My Pink Stamper), Embossing Folder (Indentz), Ink (CTMH), Boarder Punch (Martha Stewart Crafts), Cricut & Simply Charmed Cartridge (Provo Craft).

Supplies: Cardstock (American Crafts), Ink (CTMH), Stickles (Ranger), Cricut & Create a Critter cartridge (Provo Craft), Stamp (My Pink Stamper), Ribbon (Offray).

My Pink Stamper Design Team Call...

Hi everyone-

Robyn (aka My Pink Stamper) is having a design team call for her fabulous stamp line.  Her challenge for this project is:  Make a card, scrapbook page, or other Cricut project with your favorite Cricut cartridge using the following colors......

Orange
Turquoise
Green
Brown
(other optional color of your choice)

There are a few more parameters as well.  Click HERE to see the full post on Robyn's blog and all the other great entries.
A little something that some of you may know is that this was the exact reason I started my blog over a year ago.  I would love the honor of being on this design team because it would be so great to give back to so many who have inspired me.

My project for submission is one I made using Kate's ABCs.  The color challenge really brought this card together.  I used a sentiment from My Pink Stamper's Everyday Life set on the inside.

Supplies:  Cardstock (American Crafts & DCWV), Kate's ABCs, Gypsy, Cricut (Provo Craft), Sentiment Stamp (My Pink Stamper), Dimensionals (Stampin Up!), Ink (CTMH), White Gel Pen (Uniball Signo).

I wish all the entries good luck.  They all look great and I am thankful I am not the one choosing.

Have a crafty day!

MPS Challenges #10-12

Wow - What a productive and fun day!  12 completed projects/cards.  I can't remember the last time I did that.

Challenge #11 - Make a project using black, green & pink.  I decided to do a shaped card but kept it at 4.25" so it could still fit into an A2 size envelope.
Supplies: Cardstock (CTMH), Stickles (Ranger), Pattern Paper (Stampin Up!), Cricut, Gypsy, Wild Card & Graphically Speaking cartridges (Provo Craft).

Challenge #12  - Kids Craft Project.  I made the cute little cheerleader from the Everyday Paper Dolls cartridge.

Happy Easter Weekend

Hi Everyone -

I hope you are having a fabulous weekend.  I wanted to share with you today some quick Easter treats I made yesterday.  The photos are not the best since I took them with my phone but you get the idea.

The first two photos are of a gift card I made with Wild Card.  The card is cut at 7" and the insert was made with Microsoft Word clip art.  My daughter is a huge Kindle fan so I thought this would be fitting.

Next are a few treat bags I made for the kids.  I just put these together real quick with the bunny from Create a Critter and the egg from Doodlecharms.
Supplies: Cardstock (American Crafts & Bazzil), Ink (CTMH), Clear Bags (Stampin Up!), Tiny Attacher (Tim Holtz), Stamp (My Pink Stamper-Happiest Moments), Cricut, Create a Critter, Wild Card, Doodlecharms (Provo Craft).

Hope you enjoyed and have a Happy Easter!

Graduation Cards...

First let me just say ouch.  I got a sunburn mowing the lawn the other day.  It was so nice outside and not too hot but I totally spaced out and did not wear any sunscreen.  I know that was bad on my part but now I look like a lobster.  Aloe vera is my best friend today.

Anyway, a couple of days ago I made some cards for my daughter to give to her friends who are graduating this year.  She is just a junior so we have one more year to go.  I am already getting sentimental on her though.  Sigh...

The school colors are cardinal red, white and black.  The girls wear the white caps and gowns and the boys the red.  So I had to make them matching cards.  I used the Wild Card Cricut cartridge cap and matching envelope.  I forgot to take a picutre of the inside but I used a "Happy Graduation" stamp from My Pink Stamper.  To give the tassel more texture I ran the bottom have through a cuttlebug embossing folder and added stickles to the top.

Supplies: Cardstock & Ink (CTMH), Cricut, Wild Card, Cuttlebug, Forest Branches embossing folder (Provo Craft), Stickles (Ranger), Happiest Moments stamp set (My Pink Stamper).

Oh Happy Day

Hello fellow crafters.  I hope you are having a fabulous day.  The sun is shining and I have spent my morning on my deck enjoying my hot tea (I'm not a coffee fan) and the latest Paper Crafts magazine.  It is so nice outside and I just wanted to enjoy it before the rain comes in this evening.

I spent some time with my Cricut the other day.  The picture is not the greatest but none the less I wanted to share.  It features the whale from Create a Critter and the stamped sentiment is from the Punny-Licious set by My Pink Stamper.

Supplies: Cardstock & Ink (CTMH), Pattern Paper (MME), Stamp (My Pink Stamper), White Gel Pen (Uni-ball Signo), Stickles (Ranger), Cricut & Create a Critter cartridge (Provo Craft).

I hope the sun is shining where you are today.  As always comments are appreciated.  Thanks for looking.  :)

Wedding Card

Another Wild Card Cricut cartridge creation. A dear friend of mine got married last month and I had to make her a special card. She is also a scrapbooker so I knew she would enjoy a hand made card.

I used my Gypsy so I could make sure I sized it to fit into a regular A2 size envelope since I needed to mail it.
The sentiment stamps on both the outside and inside of the card are from My Pink Stamper.
The stamp on the back is a favorite from The Stamps of Life. I just get a kick out of it!

Supplies: Cardstock (American Crafts), Stamps (The Stamps of Life & My Pink Stamper), Ink & Bling(CTMH), Stickles & Pearl Stickles (Ranger), Cricut, Gypsy & Wild Card Cartridge (Provo Craft).

MPS Challenge Response

On March 1st Robyn posted a challenge on her My Pink Stamper Blog and I thought I would play along.  Her challenge was to create any project using a feathered friend.  I just got the Paisley cartridge so I had to use one of the owls.  Although the branch is from Create a Critter.
Supplies: Cardstock (American Crafts, Stampin Up!, Close to my Heart & DCWV), White Gel Pen (Uniball Signo), Boarder Punch (Martha Stewart Crafts), Ribbon & Ink (CTMH), Stamp (My Pink Stamper-Punnylicious), Cricut, Gypsy, Paisley & Create a Critter Cartridges (Provo Craft).

Comments and constructive feedback are always appreciated.  Have a crafty day!

Hoppy Birthday Card...

Today's card is another cut from Create-a-Critter.  I'm thinking this would make a great little boy birthday card.  I used the Storybook cartridge for the top note shape in the background.
Supplies: Cardstock (American Crafts & CTMH), Gel Pen (Signo), Stickles (Ranger), Ink (CTMH), Cricut with Storybook and Create a Critter (Provo Craft), Stamp (My Pink Stamper).
